Here at Companion Parrots Care & Rescue we have several aims:
*To never refuse a bird.- No matter how sick, how disabled or how challenging their behaviours.
*To meet the physical, medical, social, emotional & psychological needs of every bird in our care.
*To provide a healthy, varied & species specific diet to every bird.
*To encourage our birds to interact with each other & hopefully form close bonds & to interact comfortably with their care givers.
*To work with each bird to train the basics of living happily in a captive enviroment.
*To educate current & potential owners of parrots & offer lifetime support.
*To encourage breeders to allow parent raising of their chicks.
*To inform & support owners on the legal expectations of bird ownership.
*To re-home our parrots available into educated, loving,supported forever homes.
