Our aim is to rescue, re-habilitate & find educated forever homes for companion parrots of any species, who for what ever reason have found themselves homeless. This website has been created to offer several services: *To give advice, support & information to parrot owners. *To educate potential parrot owners. *To attract new members,volunteers & potential adoptive families for our parrots *To raise awareness of the huge overpopulation of CAPTIVE parrots in the U.K & around the world. *To raise awareness of the plight of wild parrots in their own habitat, their numbers are dwindling due to encroachment on their habitat, poaching & the actions of man- do not be part of the problem-Never buy a wild caught illegally imported parrot- We need to protect our companions wild cousins some species are close to extinction due to human interferance. *To promote the welfare parrots & their carers. *To raise money or donations of equiptment,food & supplies essential to the parrots care & upkeep. |
